Great place to stop off for basic, well cooked and tasty food at a good price. Very friendly staff, welcoming and helpful. Dog friendly and provided water and a sausage for each dog. They were delighted too! On the spur of the moment stop off, but glad we did. Will happily return and highly recommended

Typical trucker caf in decor and typical range of fare available. Food and tea delicious - amazing, it really hit the spot! We had bacon, sausage, egg & mushroon rolls. The owner even went out to the shops to get more mushrooms for us.Very impressed. All the staff really attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Wow first time here. What a lovely cafe. Staff very helpful. Loads of free parking. Been on this site run by the same family since 1922. Not to far off of the M3 ideal stopping off point on the way down to the West Country.

Amazing little cafe, wonderful staff, a hidden little gem. If you like a little cafe, with great staff, fantastic food at amazing prices then this should be your go too. Loads of parking at the rear, so car clubs, bikers all add it to your list …They even stayed open late today for our daughter who wanted to have here 18th Birthday lunch there because she loves it so much. Laura and the girls did a wonderful job thank you and she had a truly wonderful lunch. Thank all at ‘The Shack’

Great breakfast from here last weekend - the staff were so friendly even though it was busy, portions were huge and food was lovely! I'll be coming back when I next pass by!

Cracking breakfast! Lots of choice, breakfast size to suit everyone. Hubby had all-day breakfast, which included his favourite, the fried slice. I had breakfast number 2. All the food was hot. Very reasonably priced.Everyone was really friendly. We couldn't quite eat everything, so the dog got some too!Thanks.
